Maybe annoying was a bit of an understatement. I'm wondering if it will turn up on eBay at some point. I've kept photos in case they're silly enough.

I know  :salute: I kinda meant at least you got your money back,
I didn't want to use too many rude words describing the mother loving sumbitches and hope they fell off
their post offices bikes on their way home and impaled themselves on your knife

I've awarded this knife with the title, most impractical knife I ever bought. At the time I thought it was cool.

Still is cool.  Maybe break it out on holidays to carve.  Looks like it would make a good pumpkin dispatcher.  Heck I'd use it in the yard to slay weeds and other invaders to my yard.

I've dispatched a lot of things with it in the last 30 years,  :D all that wear on the black was done by me. I bought it as a camp/hunting knife and for that purpose it failed.

Yes it is, although I gave up on that forum years ago. It was buying the Bushcraft Mini from Colinoutdoors that prompted to phone Gary.

You know how it goes after that I bought this knife, a new sheath for the mini and two belts and we ended up talking on the phone for a considerable length of time.

I've been looking for a new bushcraft knife for a while now, The Alan Wood Ray Mears knives cost serious money second had, Steve Wade Cox recently passed away so there is no Ray Mears knife at the moment. I've been trying to buy a Jacklore for the last two years but he's now closed his order books permanently so zero chance of getting one them as well unless I pay through nose  for a second hand one.

I should add this is The Wildcat and it's a serious chunk of 4mm O1 tool steel. I love it. In fact I'm going to ask Gary to make a Mini again with the White miacata scales and red liners for my son so we can have matching knives.
