I only have a few fixed blades, but they all were made by a local guy who passed away. I was lucky enough to get one of two knives that his widow sent to a friend to finish. The friend acid etched her husband’s name on one side, and on the other, he etched "The end of an era".

I like his work tremendously. There is something about them that calls to me. They are all hunting knives with custom sheaths that he made himself.

Memorial knife.

I agree.

Hard to come by though. I don't think he made many, and I know he only sold them at one of the local trading post and a few local outdoor shows.

Here's the SOG Seal Pup Elite:

This last one has a wave in the secondary pouch, which will accomodate most MT's

Not enough lighting, sorry about the crummy pics, will wait till daytime for the next pics, the flash overpowers things, using Canon SD850 IS

When I purchased my 4 SOG MTs, they placed in the package a 2009 catalog. SOG makes some very interesting knives. I especially was interested in their themed Fusion knives like:

Muscle car,
Fish on,
Contractor 2x4,
Kilowatt.

Nice Seal Pup Elite.  :tu:

Its a very solidly built knife, not too big, well balanced, good grip, and fairly sharp. Need to wipe the oil off the blade b4 I take a pic next time, and need bettter light.

Amazon had the muscle car knife last week as a lightning deal for about $15, shoulda picked one up, but got distracted.

Sorry for the newbie question, but whats PE? This knife only comes black ox, partially serated. Its quite sharp and extremely well made, theres a glass breaker on the end as well. Well balanced and good grip. Sheath has a graspy plastic clamp that locks it in nicely

It's made the same way as any other Kydex sheath...the only difference being that I mount a small button head screw in the knife handle to act as a retaining stud.
