He moved to Silay City a few years ago Donald. I will try to contact him and will ask if he can make us one kukri each.

BTW have you seen a folding kukri? When Gene and I were at the Survival and Outdoor Equipment (SOE) store few months ago we saw their folding kukri. It was beautiful but we don't have a budget for that at that time. Our budget then was for Fenix lights.

Yes eddie I have been drooling  for that folder for sometime now. There are 2 models the Rajah I and the Rajah II, the picture you posted is the Rajah II its cheaper than the Rajah I significantly. The difference is that the Rajah I have metal parts on the handle which I think makes it stronger than the Rajah II.

I like the Rajah I better because I think its stronger.

Does anybody here have handled both?

Donald

That folding Kurki is nice.

Here are two of my fixed blades.
On top is a bush craft BCNW-01 (designed by Mike Lummio of Bushcraft North West http://www.shop.bushcraftnorthwest.com/product.sc?categoryId=2&productId=27) it's made by Ray Ennis in Utah, very nice and sturdy knife that can take lots of abuse at a very affordable price.

The bottom is a well known Frost Mora, cheap, sturdy, and a must have item outdoors.

I know this is probably a dumb question but what are the plastic and metal things in that picture?

I'm only guessing but I think the clue is in his name.  Looks like a connector for amps etc.

The only dumb question is one you don't ask :) They are XLR connectors and are used on a variety of pro audio equipment, including as Gareth says amps. Mainly used for low level signals (mic and line level) although in the past they have been used for speaker level signals but that was just a bad idea as it meant you could plug the output of an amp quite easily into the input of something other than a speaker, which releases the magic smoke that made them work :o :D

I like the lines of that top one.  :)

Thx. It is a really good bushcraft oriented knife, perfect for outdoors. I'm waiting to get a new leather sheath with a ferro rod loop and this baby will see more use. Other knives I've considered for future purchase are Fallkniven F1 and RAT Cutlery R-3.

The F1 seems really popular. Good knife from what people say.
