I've never owned an Endura, but I would recommend these new flat ground Delicas (the blue one in the pic above).
It's a great little knife

Hmmm... good suggestion. I'll have to have a look-see.
By the way, I just took some photos of my meager folding knife collection! I think I can get them posted later today!

Meager knife collection photos GO!
Here's everything I could find. I know there are at least a few more in my toolbox at work:
Here are some group shots-
All my combination knife blade-utility blade knives:
All of my "old-fashioned" knives. Mostly slip-jointed, and mostly poor quality:
Here is just a close-up of some assorted knives- basically most of the ones that are by name-brand companies from which I only have one knife:
My former favorites- the SOG knives. I can't find my Topo Meridian anywhere though...
:
My current favorites- my minuscule but rapidly growing collection of Gerber knives:
Also, I apologize for my atrocious camera work. But hey, at least I got some pictures to post!

I really do like Case brand slip joint knives. The fit and finish is perfect and they do make many different patterns so collectors find them pleasing. Here are a couple "Mini-CopperHeads" as they are called. These have a Wharncliffe main blade. The normal would be a large clip blade. The model number is 62109W, and the W indicates the Wharncliffe blade. Case uses various tang stamps that indicate its year of manufacture. These are both from the 2000-2009 series. There are 5 "X's" and 5 "Dot's" stamped over and under the master Case tang stamp. The way to tell what year it was made? All 10 marks indicate a 2000 year, so for each mark removed you add 1 year. The blue knife below is a 2000 model and the yellow is a 2003 model.
As compared to a Victorinox Classic
5 "X's" and 2 "Dot's" indicate a 2003 year date.
Model number tang stamps are usually found on the secondary blade. This one is 62109W. SS indicates Stainless Steel obviously. There are "CV" metal too.
5 "X's" and 5 "Dot's" indicate a 2000 year date.
Love the colors.
Small Pen blades.
Wharncliffe main blades.

I had a SS byrd robin a long time ago when they first came out. At the time I was operating on the bigger is better principle on knives, so I got rid of it. As my experience with knife increased that's no longer the case and I quite miss it, the SS handle is quite good looking and with its small size the weight penalty isn't too bad. Funny eh? I've gotten rid of many more expensive knives and I don't miss them, but I do this $20 one. Well I finally got another one today.
