Looking good Zoidie  :tu: I do like what you've done at the choil BTW

The handle has got a kind of organic shop worn look, like it's worn into that shape from extended use. Reminds me of the pics you see of old craftsman's hammers that have been used day in day out and have taken on the hand shape of their owner

Thanks.

I forgot to mention that this second version of the choil doesn't lock up solid.
Tip travel is less than a cm.
I knew it would happen but still went with the change.
Not a problem for how I use the knife but it might be an issue for blade pushers.

I just chipped at the handle until it fitted nicely into my palm, then a quick sand and wax.
Totally smells better now too.

That's a sweet 110 and BG-42!

Thanks David.

Buck has stated this is the last knives they will make with the BG-42.Their supply of this steel is exhausted and they will not order any more. This fact and the options on this knife prompted me to buy it.

It has a drop point blade, mirror polished nickel silver bolsters, nickel silver pins, charcoal scales and a nicely made distressed black leather sheath.

Altogether a very eye appealing package.
