Thought I'd throw in something a little different:some really large folders. Most of these are old and some are new. The background for all the knives is a grid of 1"(25.4mm)squares to get an idea of the sizes.
First up is an old navaja style knife I acquired from a friend whose dad was an antiques dealer. It is made of cast metal(not sharp)and I'm a bit unclear as to what it's original purpose was.Makes an interesting display though.
Next is a couple of large stiletto type knives(non-automatic).One has a spear point blade and the other more modern one a clip point. The first has horn handles while the second is plastic.
Last is a large 3 blade folder(outboard two blades lock open)made in China fairly recently I would guess. I bought it at a pawn shop for $6 only because the size was so outrageous.

A few more:
First is a large horn handled knife made in Frosolone Italy probably around 1900 or so.Nicely made w/brass bolsters the blade is concave ground w/a long false edge.
Second is a large balisong made by Taylor-Seto Japan;the largest balisong I own.Solid brass sides it is a handful.
Third is an unusual old Colonial folding hunter with a cleaver blade as the secondary.A totally useless knife if you are trying to use just the clip blade;there is no way to grasp the handle with the cleaver blade closed.Guess they didn't sell too many of those.
Last is a huge pruning knife marked Hoffritz Italy.I'd hate to get cut with that one!

A few more:
First up is a huge stiletto marked Rostfrei and probably made by Campolin.
Second is an automatic stiletto I got in high school circa 1960.Traded it for some pinstriping on a car dashboard.
Third is a group of three large navajas;the bottom one is mid 19th century.
Last is a recent manufacture Pakistani congress pattern;one of the biggest folders I've seen.Closed it is a foot long!

A 70's Italian stiletto (carbon steel)...

Used to carry a one size smaller version of this to the movies downtown back in the 70's. It was really dark and deserted downtown...  The ring was my Uncle Buddy's, he got it on a trip to Juarez .... :D

Definitely looks like it;but I think there is a bit of a size difference. The knife I posted is about 8 inches long closed.

Some of my larger folders. Wenger Rangers are probably the longest.

That Lakota is really nice;and rare too. I haven't seen one of those for about 30 years. They weren't very popular when first introduced because they were kind of "out there' looking;which is why I liked them.
