Keychain screwdriver
on: November 27, 2008, 09:49:57 PM
Lately I've been carrying my Lowes razor knife as an EDC. Of course this takes away the screwdrivers that I usually had when I carried a SAK. But this was remedied when my sister gave me one of these.

This little thing kicks butt. I dare say it even works a little better than the screwdrivers on a SAK. They're hard to find, most of the time they're sold in bulk for promotional items. You know the deal, you buy 1000 of them with a company logo on it. My sister got mine at an Auto Zone car parts store. But it seems this site sells them individually and I can vouch for their usefulness. I'm definitely gonna buy a few more since I have a tendency to lose things.

Looks very useful, but is it strong enough? the plastic parts looks like its going to crack if applied torsion pressure.

I haven't had any problems yet and I've used it on some pretty tight screws.

I use one of those 4in1 Craftsman keychain screwdrivers that Sears sells for $0.99.

yep,its pretty tough,if u notice that its made of plastic but theres enough material surrounding the bit,so ive used it for some tight screws as well, without even cracking it.and its good to carry few dedicated swrewdrivers in keychain,i think, and that little gadget covers that base.
