For me I find the RS works best . I did have one before but swapped it with the std one on our boat because the file started to corrode  ( cleaned up fine though ) plus I thouight the curved blade was more use than a file .My new RS is a used one of ebay from a UK seller and is in new condition so I'm feeling pleased  ;D Love having the scissors back and dont miss the file  ;D

Given that Duncan is in England, I suggest you keep your tools in your checked luggage!

If you look very closely in the top picture, you can plainly see that the driver of the white mini-van is using the fuse-puller on his Victorinox AutoTool to check for a short in the wiring. Meanwhile, representatives from Victorinox are rushing to the scene in the maroon mini-van, hoping to document this first-ever use of the AutoTool fuse-puller in an actual fuse-pulling situation. A very momentous occasion indeed.

Thanks Dunc, for capturing this moment for all posterity!

.....and thanks for some more great pics!  ;)

Hehe... I would have though the Victorinox Reps were the ones in the boat.  It looks like they were testing the new Vic Pocket SwissBoat.  That thing doesn't look much bigger than the AutoTool...

That 'thing' does over 30 knots and goes out in all weathers , and yes there are times I wish it was bigger  ;)
Right back on topic  ;D  Heres a pic of my new Leatherman Micra , I won it on a little compitition on British blades .I'm rather impressed with it  ;D I will write some more words about it when I've used it a bit .

I've been using J-sews home made charge blade attachment.  Here it is compaired to the Surge with a similar metal blade.

I can hear ol' Mick Dundee saying "That's not a saw..."   ;D

Speaking of the Surge, I have a few pics here for those who haven't yet seen or handled one.  You can see what I mean when I say the thing is massive!

That Surge is certainly a handful! Although when I EDC mine, people accuse me of "compensating," whatever that means.

Beautiful photographs prime77! Those are really gorgeous shots. And I'm glad the saw blade is working for you. (Did you use it to cut down that tree?)

No I used the T-shank wood blade for the Surge. I was just compairing the handling of the Surge to the Charge with your blade.  Believe it or not I ran out of metal things to cut around the house. It sure would be nice to have an extra long wood saw for my beloved charge though ;)
