I just picked up a Fox 40 tonight at walmart. Those things are expensive for a plastic whistle($5.50). I plan to try it out tomorrow.

How much are Acme whistles over there? I know I got 2 Metropolitan police whistles for $7 at a pawn shop before the owner raised the prices and they usually cost $15 -$30 on the internet.

This is the only store that I know that sells them http://acmewhistles.co.uk/xcart/home.php  I expect they are available cheaper though.

Just as an interesting aside for you trivia buffs (and trust me, this info is pretty trivial! :D) Miek Brown, aka SGTMike was the original Grand Toolmaster of SOSAK, so you can trust what the man has to say.

That's the lofty title that was initially in place for the moderator of SOSAK.  In keeping with the fancy name, many members had titles as well.  Of course, that was back in the days before the Punishment Chicken!
