BNIB Leatherman Sideclips Group Buy

I am able to secure some Leatherman Sideclips. I can potentially get quite a few of them!

I have taken a number of them from this supplier before, he is reliable and he has just confirmed that he has something like 20 left. They are the older model with the bead-blasted (Mat) finish, and are likely to be 1998 vintage (the previous ones I've taken from him were, and I believe they were all from one batch). EODtech had the last of the previous batch, so I'm sure he would vouch for the condition of these tools.

They are Brand new, complete with original packaging. They are sweet

If there is enough interest, I am happy to arrange a group buy at cost.

Obviously, these tools, in this new condition are extremely rare nowadays, there's a guy selling a used one on ebay at the moment for twice this price!

A guide price would be £30 - £35 plus postage, ($40 - $47 plus P&P) depending on how many we want. For once the exchange rate works in favour of our US members! Please, only say you want one if you really do want one, as changing your mind later might affect the order price, or leave me broke with a bunch of Sideclips! I may ask for a 50% deposit prior to ordering - just to give myself a bit of insurance! I think (hope) that a number of members will vouch for my integrity, if I am to hold your cash for a few days.

The price includes approximately $1.50 "commission", which will be donated to multitool.org running costs (i.e. Def

)

If this "offer" gets oversubscribed, I'd rather send one tool to 10 different people, than 10 tools to 1 person, I'm aware that some might wish to acquire several of these, but let's be fair to our members first!

Some pics of what I can get, the packaging is an actual photo of the stock I received previously. I have found that the best way to post them is to flatten the box, so you can reassemble it on arrival.

Please state you interest, including how many you would like (if availability permits), and I can mve this along very quickly. As soon as I have the numbers, I will publish the final cost and get them ordered.

$63 - $73 AUD plus postage which would be at cost. I would think that $15 AUD would cover that.

Dave great stuff , doing this. I have a new Sideclip so I am all sorted. The price of these tools is steadily climbing , so I reckon if you want one, get on board now as they aint gettin cheaper.

I'm using xe.com too. I'm buying these in euros and quoting in USD, GBP and AUD

Around about $12 to the US I think. Maybe a couple of bucks more but certainly not much more.

Paypal is preferred for me, but I'd be grateful if you guys cover the 4% fees, as it could add up to a fair bit for me - but we can look at the best way when we get there - don't send me any money yet!

Also I'd be glad if you could pay me in GBP via PayPal, as dollars aren't much use around here!

I've told my supplier that I'll place the order on Monday to give everyone a chance to see this. he's cool with that

Guys, they're going to be more like $50 US delivered - not $60. Confused myself there for a minute.

It's basically £27 GBP, which of course is what matters to me. That's about $37 US or $57 AUD - plus postage on top. Obviously if you want more than one - the postage won't double either, so there's some economies there too.

Paypal will charge approximately 4% of the transaction amount as a fee. That's how they make their profit.

So yes - it would be more like $74, but there are ways of reducing that which I'll mention when we get there - I want to be sure so noone gets any nasty surprises. And sure - I don't mind where the money comes from at all!

The current price (will go down the more we order), is approx £27 GBP. That equates to :

$37 USD
$57 AUD.

You must add postage from the UK to that, which of course will be at cost.
