I didn't know either, they only have fuse and core out for display, but it turned out most of the boxes they have are actually blast. I'd buy them all and ship them to people who want them, but canada post is so expensive and kills the deal.

I Core for $30 is a great deal since that's quite a bit below best dealer cost.  Better buy them if you see them since I'd assume they'll move fast.  I'll need to check out my Walmart to see if they switched around their selection.

Well, I went to my local Walmart (Dufferin Mall, Toronto) this morning and it was a complete disappointment.  Their knife/multitool section didn't even exist anymore!   ???   They used to have a display case full of hunting knives and multitools but this past summer they renovated the whole store and for some reason, they don't carry knives and multitools anymore.  The display cases are gone entirely!  The only things they had were two or three cheapie multitools in their fishing section.

Me sad now.

If it's any consolation, you spared me a very disappointing trip. I was debating whether to go to the exact same store since I had noticed that the display had been missing for quite a while. I thought it might be back by now though...  :-\

Were you able to get any info from anyone as to whether they will be stocking SAKs and multitools again in the future?

Dang. A $30 Blast would have been nice...   :(

Yeah, a $30 Blast definitely would've been nice.  I asked the employees in the sporting goods section if they were bringing back knives and multitools and they were a bit clueless on the subject.  Based on the layout of the sporting goods section, I doubt they'll have room for a display counter but they do have tall glass cabinets with a few GPS and airsoft items in them.  If they do bring back knives and MTs, I can see them being kept there so let's keep our fingers crossed.

Hmmm, maybe they are blowing them out at the Montreal location because Walmart Canada is not carrying MTs and SAKs anymore then?

It's actually not a big loss, since I have never once seen the MTs or SAKs on sale for a decent price at that Walmart anyway. That neglected display table was just sitting there covered with other boxes and junk half the time...

Hmm I wonder, they have been discounting various mt/knives recently, but I thought it's because they are changing stock since they changed the pics under counter.

I am probably wrong then if they updated the pics in your display.

The MT/knife counter at the Dufferin Walmart in Toronto has been MIA since about September. Does anyone here know if any of the other Walmarts in the GTA are still carrying MTs, hopefully on sale?   ???
