Has anybody here used the Smith version of the Sharpmaker? I've been wanting to pull the trigger on a Sharpmaker since all you hear about is good things, but it's 2-3x the price of the Smith 3-in-1 sharpener:http://smithsedge.com/products/product.asp?id=48&cid=10I don't want to waste $$ on the Smith if it's junk, though... I know that the Smith's version of the Lanksy Clamp sharpening system is junk, but that "sharpmaker" type smiths looks ok. I have a smiths 2 sided diamond hone similar to the open part of the one pictured above, and it works pretty well.-Dough

I didn't know Lansky made a rod version like that Crock Stick sharpener. Do you know what the angles are for the two different positions?
