Wait until Ben finds out what I just sent Dave!  :D

I wonder what that could be?  :D

They are £154 here, but how much did you spend on one John?

Eh? How do you know what it might be Ben?

I'm not getting a T-mag. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to tell you what I am getting though.

Should I tell him GG? :D

I didn't think you were getting the T-Mag.  I was only stating it's price as it had been mentioned earlier in the thread.

Fixed blade for me...although I can't legally EDC (nor do I have a reason to) one of any real size since I would turn into a maniac at any moment and begin slashing around with it ::)

If I were to choose a folding knife lock, it would probably be a nice liner lock.  Easy to close with one hand.

I prefer frame locks ( assuming proper execution ) . I like the axis lock , but Benchmade wont sell the pesky little springs . This means shipping the poor beast internationally for repairs . I once had nearly 50 Benchmades , now I only have two . I don't have a great deal of faith in liners except for light duties , duties that a slipjoint will do about as well.

I had a T mag and liked it , problem was it attracted all kinds of crud and small denomination coins .

Frame lock for me by far.
Frame locks and liner locks may have the similar principles, but they function differently for sure.   A liner lock tends to open when you white-knuckle (grip tightly) the handle.  That has happened to me once before, and that was before I was a hardcore knife fan.  The lock on frame locks tends to engage more from the pressure of you hand when you grip the handle tightly.
