Don't you think it's time for some new Juice models?
« on: February 03, 2009, 11:48:05 PM »
With the modular design of the Juice series, isn't it time Leatherman made some new variations?

Some ideas from my own brain:
F2 - Diamond file and Knife
K2 - PE and SE knife.
A knifeless Juice with a file and scissors.

I could go on. Point is the line is underdeveloped.
Fan of the Leatherman mini-bit driver, dedicated slotted drivers, and the Victorinox backspring philips. But not combo blades.

I've mixed feelings on this one. Point taken about a knifeless model, but to me at least, it seems that whatever you want, there's going to be something nearly the same already.

The model with the serrated knife and file, was retired - apparently because noone bought it!

I like the knifeless Juice idea as well. Especially if it could make it on airlines...

Have you tried the CS4? It has the corkscrew instead of the serrated blade, but it's a nice tool.

Well, I didn't want to say that, but I was thinking it.

FWIW - I agree with you. A KF4 with scissors would be nice, but I'd want to keep the file.

Kf4, keep the knives and the file, lose the saw. Who uses a Juice saw anyhow?

Keep the file, get rid of the saw, add the scissors.
In order to be certain of having the right tool for every job.........one must first acquire a lot of tools

I like the Kf4 but an alternate version with scissors does appeal to me as well :tu:

I agree that the Juice line is underdeveloped. There's so many options that could be created just by mixing and matching, which seems like it couldn't be that difficult to do. I'd be interested in some knife-less options too...
