There's nothing in the Multitool Encyclopedia?

I have a couple of old price lists back in my office.  When get down to the store today I'll take a look and see if I have any of the info you're looking for.

The "Leatherman Flair with Leather Belt Sheath" seems to crop up as "Leatherman 61050103" a fair bit, but I can't find anything with Nylon Sheath, which I believe was an option.

The Mini shows up as "Leatherman 62010003G". No sheath to complicate things there!

Hope that helps some!

I was sure i'd seen a Minitool sheath  Could be wrong though? Or do you mean it was just sold without a sheath and you could get them separately? :)

I have no idea why I said that, as I actually possess two mini sheaths  One of them was included in the box with the tool in fact. I'm crap at multi-tasking, and am now wondering what I actually said to the customer I was e-mailing at the time I typed the above.

Oops.

Mini tools were available with or without sheaths . I used to have a NIB one with sheath.. This is what I have now.

Same but different:

Interesting Dennis, but I'd assumed that the Mini had been long discontinued by the time LM started using the "yellow box", but your 2nd picture disproves that. I wonder if that was "old stock" or something?

I've had a root through my boxes and it looks like none of the old style packs showed the stock numbers either, so maybe that numbering system came in with the yellow boxes. You have to assume that the numbers on the bar codes on the old style packs had some significance too.

I used to come here a lot.

Sorry I got busy yesterday and forgot to look up my old price lists.  The oldest I have is from 2005 so no go on either model.  I do have info for all the Charge XTi, Charge Ti, Super Tool 200 and Kf4 models though if anyone needs it.

When did the yellow boxes come out?   The BO mini is dated 0104.
