I like this setup .

I think you should look into a stainless steel light.

I really like the maratac Aa I got this summer.  I think it's a awesome light for the price.

Thanks men, I did consider a stainless steel light, but I carry the light externally on the side of the black Maxpedition TC-1, so a black light is more low profile.

This is how I attach the light to TC-1, i use a O-ring to secure it, to take out the light, push down the o-ring pass its clip then pull.
There are couple advantages of attaching it externally:
1. It free up pouch space for other things.
2. When I need a light, it is probably dark, having it on outside I don't have to "L ::) K" for it.
3. Sometime I just need to bright up the area a little for a few second, like walking down a short but dark corridor, I just press the end cap to turn the light on, few seconds later turn it off, without the need to take out and put back the light.

There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

Joel, how does the coating on the Skeli seem to be holding up?  I haven't really carried or used mine too much yet.
