Well you don't have to worry about the Brits after Tuesday, as we won't be able to bid.

There's a thought actually, with there being no knives and tools on ebay.co.uk, will the prices shoot up on ebay.com? I wouldn't be surprised you know, there was a fair amount of capacity on the UK site.

Lol - possibly.

I'm just thinking this through, but when you go looking for knives and tools, what percentage of what you look at is on ebay UK? With that gone, the US sellers will basically be able to charge what they like.

Ebay Germany, being the 3rd biggest ebay site are close to double the US prices, so they won't be much competition. It will be interesting to see.

Just got this today its a perfect condition Supertool. sticker still on it with a perfect leather sheath. Made in 1994

My USED Supertool was the same , it still had the sticker on it. 8) :D :D

It would be good to find a fix for us bidding against each other . I have inadvertently bid against DaveK & Dennis(3 times now  :o :D) I have not won any either  :'( :D. It is an auction & that is what happens but I do not see any +'s in making your mates pay more for tools. Maybe we could post the max we are prepared to go on an item OR a better way might be to ask "who is interested in this item" & PM max bids to each other & avoid  any 'guests' to the forum snipering us . Could be a can of worms too  any other ideas???

We had a whole section dedicated to do just that but the interest was very poor so it was closed and turned into the Deals and Auctions section.
I'm back!!

Do you think there will be a sudden flood of knives on ebay as dealers and members try an unload their stock ? Might be some bargains

Well, I was hoping there might be, but it doesn't seem to be the case, with only just over 24 hours to go!

Aw crap.  Is this definitely happening?  For *all* knives that aren't useful in the kitchen?
