This LE 2018 Berry Pioneer is my favourite SAK.

I bought it in Apr 2019, and carried it daily more than 90% of the time over the last 5 years.

There is a decent amount of wear on the key ring side scales, because I hang it from the pocket with a Nite Ize S-Biner #1.

Naturallly there is a miny fresh spare tucked away for a rainy day.

Great minds think alike. And great looking sak!

I got Berry as a Christmas gift in 2018 and she’s been in my pocket everyday since. Seen a lot of use in that time.

I denuded mine of the key ring within an hour of opening it.

Day 12
I used the main blade to cut an apple and a pear for a snack.

I suppose it is no surprise to anyone, but I have a number of blades (both fixed and folding) that I’m hoping to showcase during this challenge.

I will be at scout camp for about six days of the challenge, and also leaving for a trip toward the end of the month, so I will need to pick just a couple knives to take on each of those excursions.

Most the time. We don't really have any prohibitive knife laws around here. You can carry most any knife you want. Course if your packing a broad sword you might scare the natives.   :o  :ahhh  :D
One of the exceptions for blade carry in the UK is for National Dress.  So if you are in full kilt regalia you can legally have your Sgian Dubh and not be breaking the law.  However the law doesn't address blade length...

The main participant has been ordered up. Yes, I'm gonna make y'awl wait until the challenge officially commences to see it.

I’ll be interested to see what you’ve chosen and how you use it.

The Break Room / Re: Ten Things Everyone Should Be Able To Do

When I wrote this desktops were more common.  It's a relatively simple operation.  If you can plug in an appliance and operate a screwdriver then you were pretty well qualified for it.

Then hard drives went SATA and that made it easier, but now most are packed into laptops, which then makes it a bit more challenging.

All in all, it's still not that difficult a thing to do, but it's something I have pretty well given up trying to do.

Just pliers and bit layer.  I've already thought about modding myself.
Combined with the models I carry that would be the ideal tool addition for me because thick SAKs are not my thing.
