I am not sure I see the difference between retired and discontinued - To me they are the same!! Ie discontinued/retired from the product line. I would say retired/discontinued - But still with some availability - But not worth arguing about - If your definition is grammatically/practically correct - I accept it On your second point I reckon that some non-enthusiasts might choose a Wenger over a Vic - Eg They like the Evo scales, prefer the scissors, want a locking blade, like a smaller SAK in the pocket etc etc 7
