That one is a real looker, Mr. T.  Only thing good about where Victorinox put the hook is the fact that I never use it.  It would be nice if they put the nail file surface on it.  Then it would be some use.
One Climber should be enough, I think.  I only have one also.  Nice photos.  When are you going to pick out a nice photo for your avatar?  Then your friends can recognize your posts on sight.  Best wishes.  G

Swiss Army Knights Forum / Re: Swiza, some quite unusual Swiss Army Knives ..

I agree with Gary, try it out and see for yourself.

The knife is not bad per se, just quirky (small wonder - Swiza was founded by ex-Wenger staff;-), and you simply cannot escape the conclusion that Victorinox seems to do everything at least as good or better.

But it's original and a welcome change from the "same old, same old" we get from Victorinox. As I said, I kept it and quite enjoy playing around with it every once in a while.

Also, I bought mine in 2021 - maybe some of the flaws have been ironed out in today's production models. Hope you will report once you get yours!

Cheers,

Simon

Trooper saw I was going to crank the Cub, so it ran around and around in circles and jumped up on me.  I said, okay then.  Come along.  Best wishes.  G

Day 25

Smart move Nate, the test confirms that the striker is completely destroyed when wet. I would have thought it would be more durable like wet/dry sandpaper.

Here's my trusty Climber I carried between about 2014-2018 (I think). The climber probably, pound for pound, has the best selection of tools on a SAK in my opinion. The only issue I ever had with it was that the position of the keyring makes getting the hook out a bit of a pain. And hilariously, I think this is the only three-layer SAK I own!

I carry a custom mini composition book, it’s custom because I never could find one that was dot graph, and the Mrs had a custom leather cover made to fit mini compositions, so since I couldn’t find any with dot graph I had a few made, anyway I’m looking to switch to a 3.5 x 5.5” field notes size but I kinda want a weekly on one side and a dot graph page on the other, rite in the rain made one at the beginning of the year but the only thing I would change is each week is dated, sometimes I’ll go a week without using it so I fig a blank week would be better, thus save on paper,, I’ve been looking around and I just can’t find anything, I fig maybe I could just print out a page and make my own, but of course our printer sucks and is out of ink, plus lining up a front page to back page idk if it would work? So I was just curious if anyone knows somewhere that would make a simple little cheap book? Here’s pretty much what I was looking to make,,
