But every so often an imperfection will skate past quality control. It's just the nature of the beast with mass production.

Leatherman Tools / Re: MAY 2024 MICRA 30 Day Challenge« Last post by Farmer X on Today at 05:23:09 AM »Thank you my friend… 🙏You are very welcome! Thank you to all for the condolences and well wishes. It's been very difficult, but I'll persevere. (In fairness, though, I chose the red Micra for her.) Day 7 The red Micra acquired a fob early in the morning of Day 7. Micra Challenge Day 7 (1).jpg (Filesize: 82.88 KB) It was used to cut what I thought was a workable length, and then to cut a slightly longer length. Micra Challenge Day 7 (2).jpg (Filesize: 117.93 KB) However, the green Micra, a Signal, and a Bic were needed for the finish work. Micra Challenge Day 7 (3).jpg (Filesize: 135.15 KB) This fob wasn't my best work, so I might make another. 8
General Tool Discussion / Re: Kansept Main Street Giveaway« Last post by Farmer X on Today at 05:15:01 AM »I'm sitting out the giveaway, but I could at least share my favorite EDC item! That would be an Olight I1R2-EOS on a neck lanyard and either an Opinel or a minimal SAK in my pocket.

It was a three-cigar day, so the small blade did the honors. After lunch, the toothpick performed its designed function. Later, after patching a flat tire on my son’s bike, I aired it up to check for leaks before putting it back on the rim. Then, I had to let the air all the way out to so I could get it back on the rim. If only I had a tool handy to do this without resorting to going out to the vehicles for a tire gauge. But wait! It turns out the inline Phillips is the perfect tool for this job. The fit is uncanny, almost like it was made for it. Swiss Army Knights Forum / Re: Spirit owners club« Last post by Outback in Idaho on Today at 04:53:54 AM » Ever have a stubborn bottle cap or small jar that just won't open? Found that opening the Spirit's pliers, them grasping the container's lid/cap between the pliers, and then firmly closing down on it and twisting opens it right up! Sometimes takes a few tries on stubborn 2 liter soda bottles.
