What watch(s) do you wear on a daily basis?
on: May 31, 2009, 07:56:58 AM
Sory if this one has been done before.

I have 5 watches that I like to rotate on a weekly/daily basis. These are all my favorites.

From left to right.
Citizen Skyhawk Blue Angels Edition.
Citizen Skyhawk.
Citizen dress watch.
Bulova Automatic Mechanical Series 100 with exhibition back.
Bulova Marine Star. (looks like the battery died on this one recently).
You can probably tell I am not all that fond of watch batteries. 3 ecodrives and an auto mechanical in the mix.

A little Leatherman information.

Wear a Suunto Advisor most of the time, but also wear a Wenger, a Russian Auto (can't thing of brand now) and an old mechanical Mulco.

I'm keen to get another though.

Casio Pro-Trek PRG-110Y. My one and only watch after years and years of relying on computers and cellphones telling me the time. ::)

Not released for sale yet.  I was lucky enough to get picked by Suunto to do some real world testing and then report back to them with my feedback. Very nice watch.

I followed a link that Suunto placed on their website.  Then they linked me to a survey to fill out asking questions about sport activities that I participate in.   From there I was chosen.  Truth be told, I feel quite lucky to have been selected.  It is an upmarket watch for Suunto and I wouldn't have felt comfortable spending as much on a watch as this one is reportedly going to sell for.  +-$1K.

The only watch I own is a Citizen Chronograph.  Nothing fancy and it has its quirks, but it does what I need it to do.

Last year I sold nine watches and am now down to the three that get wrist time. The top Traser 6502 gets the most wrist time, next is the Citizen BM6400, last is the Pulsar.

That Seiko Tuna Can is beautiful   I have a question though, How does one crack the crystal of a Casio G Shock (how tall was the building you fell from?) ;)
