I just bought them anyway, I will let you know if I find them useful. I am not an electrician, but I work on computers a lot and work for a general Contractor, plus they were only ten bucks so I justified it haha. They seem like a good idea and I have been looking for something to replace my V-Cutter with as it does not see a lot of action.

I received the wire strippers today and for 10 bucks they are not bad. They take some getting used to because if you press to hard they cut the wire and not hard enough they don't do anything. I quick test them on some CAT5E strands and it worked pretty well once I got the hang of it. I replaced the V-Cutter with this, so I am going to try and cut the V-Cutter down to fit next to it, but I know I like pictures so here are some of it on my SOG:

Next to my Charge TTI and in the Handle

A little Closer up but upside down

Strips 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24 Gauge wire

Stripping some CAT5E strands

Hope this helps

They look cool - never seen them before.

I used to come here a lot.

Thanks for the mini review. I really like the idea. I don't have a SOG to put them in, but every second a powerlock looks better.

I would definitely get a powerlock. I don't have a massive collection of multitools (7 or 8). The powerlock is the one I always carry more than my LM Surge, LM Charge, Swisstool, etc. etc. Mainly for the geared pliers, the 1/4" socket adapter, and the fact that it is easy for me to replace a broken knife or a dulled beyond repair awl.
