Though I'm mostly a belt-carry multitool guy, I have been experimenting as of late with pocket carry. Most recently I have been trying either a LM Kick or Blast, riding loose in my LF pocket. I carry a bunch of other EDC items and accordingly have limited space on my belt and in my pockets. This also causes me to carry the smallest tool, light, gun, etc. which still provides good utility.
Today I had a Blast riding loose in my pocket, and am going to try also the smaller and lighter (and less equipped) Kick. I am working a PST into the pocket rotation as well, and love the retro look and feel, but the Kick and its siblings are so much easier on the hand when using the pliers due to the body shape and plastic inserts.
So am I alone here or are there others who carry a Kick or similar loose in the pocket, and how does it work for you?
Btw, I have so many multitools that I can barely keep track of them. I ordered a black Kick yesterday, and figured out today that I have already have a stainless Kick in the arsenal. Its been so long since I saw it that I forgot it was there.
Blast and Kick. Note the ergo friendly plastic inserts - which I find are very effective when it comes to comfort.Other items that ride in my LF pocket.
