i replaced some watch batteries with my wingman over the weekend. it made the job so easy. so i saved myself a trip to the watch shop and just did it myself.

i used the needle nose pliers to screw open the screw back of one of my fossils. and just use the blade to pry ( :twak: ) another one of my watches open.

overall, it was enjoyable to do. =]

used the waves flat blade driver to turn on spigot cause the darn handle was missing.  used the serrated blade to free air hose from its plastic banding and the saw to cut a rogue branch.

Wingman got a work out today. Putting blinds up. Pulling staples from wood trim, and carpet tack strip. Adjusting the laser sight on my wood chop saw.

Used my PST to put new license plates on my wife's car, then I used it to remove the foil from a container of baby food so we could microwave it.

Used my Crunch to remove a tent peg from (I think) a tree root.  My friend noticed it was a bit hard to bang in, so she just kept hitting harder with her hammer.   I strongly suggested not to do that in future as I (and my Crunch) might not be around and she'll end up leaving her portable gazebo behind if she can't get the peg out. The hammer wasn't any help at all removing it.  Lots of twisting (rotating) and pulling at the same time finally got it out, and I couldn't have done the job without locking pliers of some kind.  For a relatively compact tool the Crunch is quite robust.  :tu:

Took apart my windmill blades and refitted everything with new washers, bolts, and cotter pins.
Used my Leatherman Wave and SpiritX because I was too lazy to go and get my socket set.

wave and a bit helped me loosen those window locks.  home owner forgot where she put her little tool that came with them.  easy deal with all the different bits, I used to just clamp on and turn but it messes up the threads.  I love not running back to my truck for allen keys or bits when I have my wave.

Mini tool saw some good use today. I opened some charcoal, a very hot vent on a little charcoal grill, and fixed the split ring on Ash's collar.

This is why I love the mini tool. On a day where you don't think you will need pliers, you can still bring it along just in case. (although I also had a wave and sak pliers on me  )

The rebar got a little workout. This particle board for shelves came wrapped up in that metal belting. No dykes or shears around so the rebar had to do. Clamped down and did some twisting. Not the best application for the Rebar, but they made due. Broke the belts with no lost limbs. I hate that metal binding on shipments.

I used the Rebar at work to cut down/resize a cardboard box for a lady to use as safe deposit box card filing/storage in her file cabinet.  Nothing major, but I couldn't find any box that met the size/dimensions required to fit in the drawer, so I made one fit ;)

Well the old Mac Book Pro died last week.  It ended up being the Harddrive cable.  So on Saturday, the cable arrived and I went to town on it with the PST and Wave.  All is well now and I have my trust Mac Book Pro back.

Used my Micra to pull the heavy staples out of a cardboard box, then used its blade to cut the box open.

used surge to tighten bolts on a craftsman stool, because the tools they sent to do it were crap.  you would think they would send better assembly tools...or a multi-tool....
