I have no real info on this - just to say - Just because something becomes codified/catalogued by the Military does not mean that it will be issued en masse, or even at all - it just means "it exists" as far as the organisation is concerned, and if need be, could possibly be acquired and used.

So the US Army has identified this item - Whether they intend to buy 100,000 or just 10 remains to be seen.

Just because an item has a NSN number does not mean it's "official issue". It just means it's available purchase through General Service and Accounting. If an Item gets a NSN the manufacturers and retailers use the fact to jack up the price. Still I really really want one now.

Ok, so these three are all the same tools but the only diff between are,
This one is u.s. And is black anodized
