It is an odd tool that is too bulky and some of the features are just not ergonomically thought out. Here are some photos of one that I have posted on here before.

Chako
Thanks for the pics. I like the color combo of the tool you have.

I've seen it in stores all the time, just doesn't look like something I'd use TBH.

well this tool is not on my good list

see i got one and have used it little but find the lid does not really like to stay down and the tap measure is cheap.

then i was at the store and they had a few sitting out for real cheap and ya same issues except way worse, the tapes where all bare with no scale and the lids where NOT staying down.

I dont think this tool has a long lasting life and am less impressed the longer i have it

This item hasn't been available locally for awhile, since Cdn Tire cleared them out.  Home Depot may have had it too, as it came up in a search, but none in stock anywhere. It looks like it wasn't a big success, but I read on their website that there's an updated version coming out in April.

I got my hands on one of these today, and I don't really understand why they're discontinued everywhere.  I wouldn't buy one because I have all the tools it replaces.   Otherwise, I've seen a lot worse products, stay popular for a lot longer.  It looks to me like reasonable quality throughout, no obvious flaws that I could see.  There must be more issues behind the scenes that I don't know about.
