As far as I know... yes, it's a lifetime warranty, especially if that's what it says on the website. They'd have a hell of a time arguing otherwise, wouldn't they?Def
I really hope it's not for only 5 years as that would really put me off of Wenger. Why should we pay more than the US and yet get a far lower warranty? That sucks.
Isn't LM technically a lifetime warranty though?
If Wenger won't honor it, and I don't see why they shouldn't, Whitby will, otherwise they'd be in big trouble for false advertising.Def
I realize Switzerland isn't in the EU,but could the change in warranty have something to do with EU warranty laws?
I wouldn't be surprised at any stunt Whitby's tried to pull to be honest. Whatever you do, don't mistake them for a company with ethics.

None of it makes any really good sense as Vic and Wenger are one company now.But I know nothing about Swiss business practice.

There's always the "Mr. Whippy" work around:1. Mail it to me.2. I send it in.3. They fix it and send it back4. I mail it out (unless it's too nice )

I mail it out (unless it's too nice )I had thought of that actually as I can't see any way of them getting out of it. Mind you, I can't see how they would keep a record of those over 5 years here either (unless they ask for proof of purchace of course).
Who really would use the same multi for 25 years anyway?
