I used my Pioneer to cut some not so good bits out of my lunchtime apple at work today. So far so good! I then wiped the blade with my finger... such a gentle wipe but it took a lovely slice out of finger nonetheless  :ahhh There's sharp and then there's stupid sharp me

Ouch. Been there, done it. Every knife has bitten me on the first day of playing with them. Must be some kind of rite of passage.

My Pioneer bit me last week.  I was cutting in a clamshell package and was making the initial stab to go around and the blade slipped and stabbed me in the other hand.  Probably needed a stich or two, but I just wrapped it tight and its almost healed now, but I do have a scar in the shape of the blade.

I cut myself a little with the awl of a Farmer the other day.  It was the edge, not the point.   That thing is sharp.

I'm pretty good at not chopping myself up when using a blade.  Cleaning is a different matter  ::)

Hint: pay careful attention to where the blade edge is whilst removing tape residue from your blade with alcohol and a kitchen towel.

Neil

I'm not taking any more mod orders at present, sorry.
