What flashlight do you have on the way?

This week just received the ITP A3 EOS upgrade (finally!!!). Its an amazing light but not good enough to replace the Fenix E01 at my keychain. Also received a 1 x XX budget light called Tank E07 but it arrived DOA

On the way is a Nitecore D20. Resisted as much as I could but finaly gave up and decided to have a try. Lets see if it will replace my Fenix L2D. Also waiting for a couple of Eagle Tac P100A2 but these ones are gifts for family members.

My NiteCore Smart PD D10 knocked the Novatac 120 out of my pocket long ago, and I don't see anything replacing it as EDC in the near future.

Luxor, I like my D20 too, especially the build quality.  The weight of it will surprise you for it's size.  vs. the L2D, it's a bit of a tossup--the D20's switch is much more durable and the grip is better, but I think you'll find that the L2D throws light better at distance.  The D20 is a bit brighter, but the reflector seems to diffuse the spot in the center of the beam more.

Other than them sending me the wrong color (black for blue, which they refunded me an extra 7% in addition to the origional 8% for, excellent customer service @ 4sevens btw) I'm really happy with my EZAA, & as far as my worklight, I do believe it has replaced my Novatac!

Shipped to my door around 20 euros

Found many well below that price at the US but no shipping to Europe or shipping costs above light value.
Dont know prices in the UK.
Another problem is that Im really picky about colour, it has to be green. Ive been waiting for something on CPF but usually Im too late to grab it or it is the wrong version/colour

Infinity was originally made by CMG until Gerber bought CMG. There are no major differences between both brands as Gerber kept the same old design and philosophy only upgrading with newer and better emitters and making some little cosmetic changes -  making the light a little uglier (at least that’s my opinion)

I agree that the Gerber is uglier, and it has more possible water entry points, and is more complex with the spring-type contact in the tail.  It simply is not as robustly built as the CMG.

However, there are several points that help me overlook those drawbacks:

The Gerber can tailstand
The Gerber's clip is easier to use on a hat
The Gerber can be switched in a "momentary" fashion
The brightness and runtime are improved with the newer Nichia emitters

I also prefer the switch on the tail, as I tend to mostly hold lights in an "ice pick" type fashion.

As said, they are exactly the same apart from a little bit of text on the emitter head.  I'm aware of the new style LD10+20 with clip, but can't find any here in NZ just yet (still waiting for trademe.co.nz 'approved' status before I can get bits there ).  Thought I'd get myself an old-style LD10 and have some fun modding it

Plus, its got the picture of a golden cow on it... what more could you want
