My pleasure Wim. Not enough pockets today for everything I wanted to carry
...but I offer this pic for the thread.  :salute:

While the Wave rules, the PC is Tim’s finest multitool, imho of course.  :hatsoff:

Yes, its small sized jaws do limit its applications somewhat. A100 has much bigger locking jaws, even bigger that a SuperTool...but non-folding.

Never tried EDC...the pouch is a full 7 inches long...but the A100 is not much heavier (243g vs. 190g)

A100 3-day Mini-EDC challenge, to compare to Crunch.

Pouch is excellent build quality. Long (7in) but belt loop 1/3 down so carries high on the belt and does not snag when seated. A100 asymmetrical so snags if not inserted with OHO blade side facing inside. Size of A100 is similar to open SuperTool, for comparison. More feedback as the EDC continues...

First day feedback. No issues with the carry. Pouch did not catch on anything and easy to retrieve the A100. Just need to remember correct orientation otherwise catches when returning it. 2.5in OHO blade easy to deploy, has a good shape and half serrated. The release lever and thumb screw get a little in the way but the blade location works OK and the exposed pliers are not a problem. Used the flat driver to tighten a pan handle. The tools don’t lock like an LM. There’s a tab that keeps the tool open when the handles are closed. Nice exposed nail nick to deploy the driver, which is quite beefy and did the job, although the pointy pliers prevents you getting over the top of the tool to drive the screw. Compared to the Crunch, the A100 blade is quicker to deploy, longer and the edge points the right direction when opened. Also the driver was quicker to access and use, at least compared to the driver tucked up next to the Crunch’s blade. But you can get the end of the Crunch into your palm when driving screws. Not possible with the A100.

Yes, can’t fault the build quality and the surface finish is excellent (I think fine sand blasted).

Ok, I confess I’m pretty pitiful.  I couldn’t undo the small cap on my whiskey bottle so I used the Crunch.  I know it is designed for tougher tasks, but it worked nicely and fave me an excuse to use it.

Nothing pitiful about that usage 🆘... maybe just the tiny size of the bottle
