To remind...  I sent my Crunch to Leatherman for repair. The doohickey that keeps the handles locked together when the pliers are put back into the handles was not working properly. The handles would just fall away from each other.

They sent me a new Crunch.  Today I got a mail call... couple of Nite Ize Hip clips. I have used these on my OG Wave as well as several SAKs.  I really like them, they work well.

I have one on my Hercules and am thinking of adding one to my Locksmith.

As much as I’d love the Kick clip set up, it just seems difficult to source all the parts these days.  So I’m going to slap one of these Nite Ize clips on and allow pocket carry!




And done...




Again, not as elegant and OEM looking as the Kick clip mod, but much easier to install!!  LOL

Yes, with 3M VBT tape.  Easy to remove if needed.
