Well, technically, it's more like 2.5 Crunches really. One of them is basically functional but the blades don't lock properly due to some missing washers.

They are rather odd and specific washers too - so no chance of replacements really :(
I used to come here a lot.

You mean 3.5 as one is specially modified to be UK legal carry ;)

Can you not make some new washers?

Beyond my capabilities mate. They are weird.

I'm two missing (maybe three - I'd need to take it apart again to be sure) :)

That's pretty strange, I knew they weren't circular but didn't realise they were that perculiar  They're very thin as well aren't they, what do you reckon 0.2mm?

Something like that yes. They are paper thin.

They are a bitch to reassemble too in case you're thinking of having a look! You'll be there a while putting it back together.....

Are they quite stiff or do they have a bit of flex to them?  I wonder if a replacement could be fashioned from a razor blade?

Good idea, although I think a razor blade might be thicker. They are quite flexible.

I flaming well was when I removed the blades from mine! Probably a result of being too casual and not taking note of where things go as I was taking them apart :-[ In the end I stuck it back together without the special washers and just used ordinary ones that I had in the shed. The tools clump a bit now which I don't mind but they do lock and I'm reasonably happy with result.

You have PM, Dave.

Thanks to Craig, who sent me three of the missing funny shaped washers, the third Crunch is now repaired.

Must have taken me two hours to reassemble the damn thing - lol. But now - it's all good, except for a missing lanyard ring, but I had a perfect thickness washer to replace that with so it all works fine :tu:
