Very cool vehicle but the author is a bit of a idiot in my opinion.  He obviously wrote the article to stir up a big pot of hate instead of actually talking about the vehicle.

"It's certainly not for everyone, but that's all part of the appeal."

Hardcore off-road enthusiasts will find a lot to love in the J8. The axles are heavy-duty Danas, the brakes are from a Dodge Ram and the frame is stout enough to handle a 2,500-pound payload. Or it'll tow 3,500 pounds.

You've got two options under the hood - a 2.8-liter diesel rated at 174 horsepower and 339 pound-feet of torque or a 5.7-liter Hemi V8 producing 330 horsepower and 375 pound-feet.

Sounds pretty good to me.

We tested these at the Proving Grounds.  They are fun to drive.  VERY fun in the mud (or so I've heard... we weren't supposed to test them in the mud)
