Just grabbed one of these on Ebay for $47 incl postage, I saw it with 1min 37sec left on the clock and jumped at it without thinking:



Thats a Charge TTI and a Swisstool in the post now, and that is the last thing Im putting on my credit card for a while

Nah, Ill give my first impressions and all that but Ill leave the detailed comparisons to the big boys, the first and last multi-tool I owned was a cheap Swisstool rip-off I bought in a market in Thailand for about $1.50 3 years ago, the handles on the pliers crushed together like PlayDough the first time I tried to pull a rusted deadbolt off an old door at home, these will be my first real ones.

The Charge , You'll love the one hand opening 154CM blade and the detachable pocket clip etc.

The Swisstool , You'll love the build quality and sheer strength of it and the big choice of tools .

Incidentally had there ever been an expert (i.e. not a novice) review of a LM charge versus the vic spirit, or LM surge vs. vic swisstool?

I think that would be quite informative.

thats something i've been looking for for quite a while as well since I decided to buy one. Didnt have much luck so would be quite interested in the answer.

I never spend that kind of money without reading a review first either, theres just something about shiny weapons/tools thats impossible to resist I suppose.
