Right I've got everything together now, and it's just a question of packing it all

Jessops.  Its the only place I've been able to find it.  Do a search for CC70 Case on their site.  I don't think they do the case any more but they still do the spare foam.  Its expensive for foam but the way its diced means you can just pluck it to shape.  I originally used said case for a big laptop I used to own but am now re-purposing it for the cause

Entirely off the off topic topic here, but would any of your chaps be able to bring sharpening stuff to the meet?
I need someone to show me how to sharpen things properly as I just use a pocket ceramic thing and get ok results - could do better! I learn best from example and hands on trial and error (I can bring a cheap knife to do the error bit on - don't panic!).

I used to be quite good at doing my chisel and plane blades with an oil stone but knives seem to be a whole different kettle of fish

It's a shame Dunc's not going, as he's a true master at free hand

I will indeed bring the Sharpmaker.  I'm hoping someone far more skilled than I can sort some serrations out for me.
