What's the reason?

I just figured it would make it easier for those outside the community to figure out which big mouthed member was me!

As I meet more and more folks in the industry and tell them about the goings on here, it's easier for them to identify me if I make myself obvious. That's pretty well the reason I changed from the handle I've used for well over a decade on this and other forums to my real name. Plus it makes it easier for you guys to track my doings in other places as well.

It's still the same old me though, don't worry!

Yeah, they paid. Unfortunately they paid me when the US/Canada exchange rate was very favorable for them, and not so much for me. It's swung the other way now, so I think I might try it again. Of course there was an edit in that article that I was not pleased about, so I think I'm going to steer towards other mags in the future.

Plus, I have a friend at Knives Illustrated so that is probably where I'll go next. Then I'll compare paychecks and see who is going to get my attention from then on!
