I keep one in my photo bag, and one in my laptop bag.  I have a streamlight stylus in my laptop bag, while I have a Pelican L4 in my camera bag.  They are perfect for clinching in your mouth while I am setting upa camera shot at night.  They are also really good for reading books or maps in the dark, which is what my wife does while we are driving.  Keeps us from having to turn on the big light and waking the baby up.

I have quite a few penlights, Pelican 3 AAAA, Streamlight stylus 3 AAAA, Led Lenser 3 N, and a aluminium 2 AA one that uses lensed bulbs. My 2 favorites are the Led Lenser and the Streamlight stylus.

The Stylus Pro for sure :)

Though I don't own one...I would definitely be getting one in the future if the price is right :)

1)  Streamlight Stylus Pro - Best EDC penlight ever.  In fact, the Stylus Pro is the penlight I've been searching for most of my life, ever since I was a little kid fascinated with penlights.

2)  Underwater Kinetics 2AAA eLED (with clicky) - Penlight for the great outdoors or hazardous industrial settings.  Super tough, drop tested, safety rated, waterproof, etc.  The 4 to 5 lumen output is good enough for close up tasks and as a backup.  Nice forward click and long runtime.

3)  Streamlight PocketMate 2AAA Incan - Mine is over 20 years old and still works fine.  Twisty head switch with a nice pocket clip.  Design similar to MiniMag2AAA, but sleeker with a smaller head.

While were on the subject I once read that 2AA penlites were designed for spies.

Two of the machinists that I sometimes work with carry the Sunlite Slim penlights. Its odd, I've been a CPF member for some years, but I still have co-workers suprise me with lights I have never heard of. But I have two kids in college and a custom Arc LSL that cured me of any personal lighting requirements for some time. :) Anyway, a Sunlite video. Neat lights,

Chris, the build quality seems very sturdy.  Heatsinking should be excellent. The threads were well formed and smooth turning. It's a shame I have been spoiled by smaller, multi-level lights.
