"...The redesigned Core features comfortable handles that are rounded to ensure a firm grip, and stainless steel construction with bronze and steel bushings. This multitool comes with a lanyard ring and a leather sheath. The Core features all-locking blades. They open easily with one hand -- just place your thumb at the base of the blade and rotate the knife until it's fully extended, which securely engages the locking mechanism. The locking mechanism is marked with a padlock symbol on the tool, and to disengage it, just squeeze it towards the handle until the blade slides past the lock. It's a simple feature, but it's one that guarantees your safety. To open and close the interior blades, just grip the handles and swing them open. Each interior blade can be lifted out by using the nail nicks or the thumb lifts...."
On an unrelated note, the Core is the only MT I have with a blade over 3". Being paranoid, I put the swisstool in the car instead and have the Core on Kitchen duty. Does anybody else keep a knife and MT in every room of the house?
