They almost had me on a redesigned Core with one handed opening blades. Looks like someone threw in some Surge wording.

On an unrelated note, the Core is the only MT I have with a blade over 3". Being paranoid, I put the swisstool in the car instead and have the Core on Kitchen duty. Does anybody else keep a knife and MT in every room of the house?

Problem is the shipping you use Rob - it's coming out as an extra $30  If you could use the priority envelope or something - I'd be all over that.

Yeah. There are lots of good deal that I can find on the WWW that I don’t jump on because the shipping is very expensive, and when shops can’t put a little green sticker on the pack and say that it’s a gift then it’s almost better and buy it at home.

Three pounds from here to there via Priority mail is $31.50.  There is a cheaper first class mail option of $22.65 but we've had very bad luck using first class and won't ship that way any more.  The only cheaper option is to use a flat rate box at $12.95 but it's too small for the packaging to fit without removing the tool and light from the clam pack.  I could always do that if you requested it but most guys like to be the ones who tear into their new tool packaging.  Unfortunately shipping outside the US just isn't cheap these days.  Like you could see from those catalogs I sent, if it's more than a simple letter the rates shoot way up.  Sorry.
