Paracord Drop Loop
on: April 29, 2009, 01:49:30 AM
I made these over the weekend...

Basically a variation on the paracord bracelet. The difference being that the male half of the buckle is mounted in reverse so that it forms a J-hook. That helps prevent the sheath's D-ring from slipping past when unlatched and also allows the bracelet to be flattened.

So now I've got 8 foot of cordage, a signal whistle and a firesteel with my BHK Bushcrafter.

It also works with the Scandi thong.

I originally tried wearing these with the buckle-up as in the photo, but found that it is more comfortable buckle-down.

I'm dyspraxic so no I can't :D

I've two left hands with eight thumbs each. I can't play any sport that requires eye-hand coordination, or count on a decimal base.
I have slow reaction too. they tell me jokes at the pub on friday, and I laugh on sundey morning at the mass. It's no good.

I Googled REI and found that i have a store i Stockton not to far from me. Great Store! I bought a few whistle buckels.  They had quite a SAKs and leathermen in stock. In the bike tools they had a nice small socket wrench that looks like the SAK socket wrench.
