I must say that I am having a very good tool/knife year thanks to many of the fine folks on this forum. Consider I am like most of the other folks on here and I am quite strapped for cash, I have still managed to trade various tools and up my collection with tools I have been wanting for a very long time. It has been a very good year so far and who knows that the rest of it will hold for me. It's crazy when I am getting hard pressed to find something else I want to add to my collection. You know how there are major wants and then there are one you want just to fill in some gaps, they are not nessisary but you want them anyways. Well here is my stash so far, let me know if you folks have similar sucesses. (not all these are from trades though but 90% are)

I'm not sure there's much point in trying to catch Bob tbh, he's out of sight by now I think ;)

I am actually starting to get to a point where I'm slowing down actually. Like you said yourself, it's getting tricky now to decide which way your collection should go. I've got most of the tools that I'd heard of 2 or even 1 year ago. Obviously, there are some tools I've made a concious decision not to go after (I'm not doing Vic tools for example), but when I see something on here that I like, I do try to explore that brand (e.g. Bear).
I used to come here a lot.

So far this year I have purchaced 2 Leathermans. A Juice S2 blue and a used Core. 4 Victoinox alox models. A red Farmer an orange Cadet a silver Soldier and a green Classic as well as a Stayglo Classic and Climber.

Not a good year for me , I've given away my Leathermans . Only new stuff has been a Vic. Farmer and a Classic . I do however have a Vic. Spirit X inbound !
