Where is it built?
It's made in Yangjiang China

I'm looking forward to seeing what tools modders and creators make for it. Full Phillips, t-shank holders, bit drivers, Damascus blades, carving blades.
Right! The possibilities modders already do what they want with multitools, what more can they do with a platform like this. The Phillips is full, but I would love a 1/4 driver.

I don't know why this exists, if it wasn't for this I could have 4 long tools with smaller ones in the middle. All the tools are excellent quality and came very sharp. They're not thin, or cheap.

Another tuber (wealljuggleknives) was sent a torx key with his Roxon. Maybe the blade play can be eliminated? I can't see how quick change and zero play would be possible without adjustment of the pivot screw. And if that is required -> what was the point of quick release?

My tip to Roxon would be: make the pivot screw easily openable (from one side; it doesn't have to be removable). One twist - open, change tools; one twist - closed and no play. Why did you go this finicky lock button road anyway?

Now a tip to Leatherman: make the Rebar pivots easily openable, start selling drop in tools, and watch the Benjamins start rolling in!
Spydies and Vics and Leathermans, Oh My!

I wasn't given a torx, which I think is for the wire cutters. I'll see if I can adjust the pivot and if that helps at all. I like your idea, would keep the extra moving parts out of the way where you hands go.

I do think with two companies now doing this it's only a matter of time before one of the big guys do something similar.

I did use a T8 and tighten up that side and it has no play side to side.

The Roxon Phantom and Phantasy have removable handle scales, to make the blade able to be removed. And it is quick. Maybe this design could be expanded to allow an entire handle's tools to be removed? And it would limit play.

That looks like the detent for the pliers. A shame they went with that design. The Roxon Phantom has ball detents for the pliers, and they're fine.

Like with any new tool, the first generation will be a learning curve and they iron out the bugs for future versions.

I think so, 3CR is like 420 from what I read.

After using this for a bit I like it. I wish it had a sheath, and that maybe the clip was on the other handle but good otherwise. I got to thinking how you can make a TSA/UK friendly multitool very easily. Heck you can leave out the knife, pack it in your luggage and put the blade back in when you get to your destination. Or, maybe just use the hobby blade attachment, might be easier. The versatility and ability to mold it to different situations is very handy. I've been swapping stuff in and out trying to find the right setup for me. I don't think there is one, but the ability to change it based on daily needs is really nice.

Today I'm going to do group photos with other multitools and do a weight comparison so people can get an idea what it's similar to.

What type of blade is this? Bought some hobby blades thinking they would work but the oval on the is longer than normal?

I think this is my final configuration, when my scalpel blades come in I'll swap them with the scissors. I missed not having a sheath, so the Flex fits nicely in my Rebar sheath.

Ok scalpel blades are in, the holder loads blades interestingly. Loads from the front and then snaps in towards the rear of the holder. Removing the blade is going to be interesting. Accessing the blade and doing so safely is tricky.

Pff, don't be a baby! Just hold it in your teeth to get it in/out of the holder.

I've already seen many videos about this tool.

Kinda makes me happy : ) While not perfect, it seems like Roxon has made a good job with this one, maybe modular multitools have a bright future because of this.

Well, enjoy it and let us know how it goes.

I'm pretty close to writing a review for it, it's been awesome. It's not without shortcomings but all tools are.

I saw a video on the ordering process that looked pretty neat/streamlined, and a video pointing out that it will indeed hold 4 long tools (2 adjacent to each other on each side) if you pick the right ones.

now as somekind modder i wanna ask something, does those tools share same pivot size as Leatherman? just wondered that could those parts could be used as modding other tools like Gerber, LM and others. since i havent actually seen yet any comparison on between Roxon tools and LM tools, lets say like flathead side by side (both loose tools and not attached to MT)
