Thanks Colt.

I feel like sticking to this carry method compared to other options :D

Looking good!

I had a chance to make the adjustments I wanted to for my Skeletool X.

I thinned the scissor tips for fine control, I rounded the tab to make it more comfortable in use and less likely to catch in pocket. Then I took off a bit of material on the part that contacts the spring in use so it sits more flush when closed and finally I reshaped the part of the original spacer so it looks better and isn't in the way.

So far the scissors have been tested on rope, paracord, cardboard, plastic (cut through a used gift card) and fingernails. I'm quite pleased.

Awesome mod and awesome carry , are those scissors from Gerber?

Thanks, that's a fine looking Skeletool you have there as well! How do you find the hammer mod and did you smooth out the serrated portion of the blade a bit?

Yes, they're from a Gerber Truss. I was a bit skeptical at first because the scissors on my original Suspension were not very impressive but especially with these tweaks, these have handled everything I've thrown at them very well. My MP400/600 scissors are great, so they must have gone back closer to that geometry on these.

Yea i smoothed them with sharpening, i founded that it better suits my use when there is bit serration left rather than full straight or serrated edge. Hammer/Jammer mod is really great, many useful ways to use it.

I love that I*XL Barlow.  :dd:

The great thing about a Spirit is there's little thought involved; pair it up with a knife and light of your choice and you're good-to-go.  The Shuffler is my go-to for quite some time now--premium steel, slim, light, well made and just great to look at IMO.

:iagree: The Spirit is also my default pick when I want something slim, not too heavy and covering pretty much all the bases.

I picked up this Kick for cheap as a mod base for a future project. You know, just for kicks

Carrying mainly Swisscard today as Im visiting a hotel for work. Nice to have a lightweight option compared to bigger MT's to carry as the dress code is more or less smart casual. Curl stays in the go bag still with all the bits.

Excellent carries everyone!

@psg I was just thinking about how situational carries need to be at times as I was modding that Kick I picked up.

Sweet pic!

I wish I could haul a full size MT every day but for example office days it's better to trim the carry down or like I had to today. It's fun and frustrating at the same time to use every now and then some bigger tools and the next day to carry only a Swisscard :D but it's useful to have options as there is seldom one size fits all solution

I'm going with this setup now for the Kick as I don't have anything quite like it. I'm thinking it'll be a nice light tool to throw in a bag for outdoors, paired with a more outdoors knife. I was thinking of removing part of the zytel inserts to fit more tools, but it would just make it heavier and less ergonomic... As it is now I replaced the shorter PE knife with a rebar serrated and I added an awl and saw.

I know this isn't a watch forum, but I was wearing this one again.
