That sounds like an arduous task!

A whole bunch of nice carries, y'awl! :tu: Here's my most recent carry: an olivewood Opinel No. 6, a Camillus electrician's knife from WWII, and a Victorinox Pioneer.

Great carries awl!

Decisions. And not making decisions.

I've been carrying some form of SAK at home for some time now, trying to carry the one that resonates the most at the given time. I've enjoyed using the Armbar mainly for the sheepsfoot blade is fun to use and it feels quite solid. It's better cutter than my Vic's. But then I've also carried the Spartan as I like the quality more and it holds more memories from all the years of carrying and using it. And just now I put the Huntsman in the pocket. This one always makes me want to head outdoors and make some shavings or use the saw for carving, bowdrill etc. I also like the scissors so much that it balances the fact it's a bit too heavy for me in the pocket. The Huntsman holds mainly outdoor memories as I've used it quite a bit in the woods. :)

Great mod !   It Kicks ASS   :D

Well said!

Excellent carries sirs!

Mrs. customod wanted an old stubborn apple tree root removed from near the garden, so out came the lopper knife. A few good whacks to the spine and it was gone.

I had to run it over the fine diamond sharpener a few times and strop it to bring it back to a paper slicing edge after being pounded through the hard wood and wet dirt.

I'm keeping it on me along with the pocket clip/OHO blade mp400 today.

Kickin' it with the Kick again today... I am surprised at how much I like this thing - so simple. I've also been surprised at how I'm getting along with just the serrated knife  blade- great for cutting up bread for example!

I couldn't find a clip for the Kick anymore so I designed and 3D printed one and attached it using an extra screw from a Rebar tool side. So far it works perfectly! Let's hope it holds up... then again I can just print another one.

Today MXBS, this is excellent tool but i dunno i maybe need to get Spirit version of this since Spirits tools are easier to acces but otherhand SwissTool is much better for heavy duties.

Creat carries everyone, all the pics look great too!

Im still ill. But I got to sleep last night finally some good hours and it's making me feel better already.

I've compared a few blades on how well they cut garlic and ginger and I've grown to like the small SAK pen knife of my Huntsman. Never used it really but for this task it's great. Im thinking of using the blade that has the lowest risk of cutting my fingers when Im doing thin slices and I feel this blade lenght is more safer than a bigger one. The Huntsman has 4 layers so it serves as a bigger handle that too adds to the safety aspect. Just made some safety observations that I normally don't think about that much :D

I use the bigger knife to open packages and for that it always has some packing tape residue. The smaller knife stays always clean.

I accidentally innovated something.

I've been thinking of carrying the LM bit adapter separate somehow but lacked any real solution. So I twisted 2mm wire to made a small loop to attach a key ring. Then I just attached the whole thing to my Huntsman lanyard. The lanyard happened to be just the exact lenght to get the adapter to position on the filed flathead. So I got two birds in one stone: 1) the adapter only can be carried WITH the SAK 2) I can't drop it as it has a safety lanyard now.

Im quite pleased of this. Now comes the experiment part where I evaluate how this behaves in the pocket. I've luckily have made a small 5 bit envelope to pair with this setup!

It's fun to come up with new ideas for the tools you have. The Huntsman has been in the adventure kit for few months but just as I started carrying it again in the pocket I've got exited of it and had some new ideas.

Very nice carries and pics everyone!

@psg very cool solution with the LM bit holder on the wire and having it with the tool all the time! I generally use my blades opposite: I keep the big one clean for food prep. and the small one for opening packages, carving, etc...

@steve Thanks! It has made carrying and accessing it easier!

Since I've enjoyed carrying the Kick so much I decided to put its plain edge back in for now as well as add scissors to make it more of a light one man show edc.

I got to play around with the blades. Test some more of which blade works for different tasks. Most of my SAK life I've been using the smaller one for smaller tasks and bigger for bigger tasks but haven't thought too much of different roles for each. Like the food prep and other uses. I tend to wash the blades quite often with dish washing soap.

I love the simplicity of your Kick :) It has a great set of tools mut not any extra that adds weight or bulk to it. It looks like a great EDC.
