Great looking carries awl!

I've had quite busy few days. Just took a dump pic of what I tend to carry when I go outside.

The Skinth has the Curl, a bitkit and a Fenix E12 (or Led Lenser P3). Upgraded the light to Fenix as it's really dark now. In my pocket is pretty much always the Huntsman. In the jeans fifth pocket I carry my Swisscard and a small boo boo kit containing ibuprofen, Imodium, alcohol wipes, few extra strong plasters and some Leucostrip - everything you might need asap when the shtf happens.

When Im at home, I tend to carry the Huntsman or the Strategist paired with a flashlight. Got to take a pic of the Strategist as it has scales now. Glued the old ones back as I don't have time to make any custom scales for it but it looks pretty fresh now. Im always changing the Strategist for the Huntsman's scissors and the Huntsman for the Strategist's bit driver and pliers. I have to glue the two SAKs together soon :D

It's been a bit quiet here.
I imagine that Gerber knife has the hole only for the purpose of spinning the knife around your finger all the time!

Btw had a laugh for the "psg style" :D was the Bond happy hanging that way or do you prefer other carry methods with it? :)

Great carry, well thought out and lots of utility!

The #1 reason for the hole seems to be spinning it... imagine Doc Holliday from the movie Tombstone  ;) "I'm your huckleberry."

#2 reason is that it let's you get really close to the base of the blade securely for carving, especially since it is a relatively small knife (only 3 fingers over the handle).

The bond is light and small enough that hanging it in the medial side of my pocket works well (yes this is now officially psg carry style). I have ordered a pocket clip for it, so I'm going to test that as well, though it shouldn't be a whole lot different from the Kick (as long as I can break it in).

The carving accuracy is a great bonus while it is obviously a secondary feature! I've got a hole-knife too, the Izula. I've sometimes used the pinky whole when camping and doing tarp setups where I may need to cut paracord and just "drop" the knife hanging to get my hands free for the rope.

I have something coming in the mail that may need some serious psg style hanging in the pocket. But it's going to be a long while until the "thing" arrives ;)

Sounds interesting! Looking forward to seeing what this mystery something may be.

I have tried half tool knives in the past and most have been too bulky or big to justify carrying over a full MT but this latest mod is very tempting... I will add at least one more component next week when I have access to a 3D printer again that shouldn't add much to the current 90 grams.

Wow cool. That's functional looking tool. Which tool donored the handle as the platform for that build? :)

Nice Fuse @Steve!

@PSG the donor is a 13€ B/bury 16-in-1 (at least from Amazon .de)  - I bought a few since the scissors and knife are quite good.

I had a chance to print the holder for the compressed graphite pencil tip for the tool knife back side. It is a good shape and balance for writing/drawing and I'm very excited!

Pliers were Mr. Pinchy with the 91mm Vic. scissors.

Nice carries! I had ordered a Fastback for my toolbox but thought I'd carry it and familiarize myself with it a bit today.
