There is that one on eBay for $90 NIB that has been there forever.  I thought the guy would drop the price by now but evidently he's just going to keep reposting it.  I got one several months ago on eBay for $45 described as "gently used".  I was leery about what the real condition would be when I got it but it was in excellent condition.

The Flair was my very first  MT. I got it as a birthday present back in 1999. About a year later I upgraded to a Wave so I sold the Flair for $15. If I only knew then it would be a collectors piece. :twak:

There was (probably still is) a brand new Flair sitting in a case at a car accessory shop near where I used to live. It was about £75, which may be why it was still there years after going out of production. I bought a NIB Sideclip made in 1997 from the same shop last year - it seems a waste to have tools just sitting around for that length of time :(

Even at that price I was a bit tempted by the Flair but ended getting a second hand one for about half the price.

Prone to daydreaming.

Yes, you have to be very careful when folks say things like that.  I bought a Pulse that "has some signs of wear."  He neglected to say that they were giant neon signs....   ::)

Leave the dents as they are- let your belongings show their scars as proudly as you do yours.

Oh......I know from firsthand experience too.  That was why I mentioned I was leery about what the real condition would actually be.  I got ripped on a GAK a guy sold me on eBay.  People love to use safe sounding catch phrases that can be interpreted in different ways.  Trying to make their product sound better but yet when or if someone complains that it wasn't what they expected, the seller can say the buyer interpreted the description wrong.  I remember when there was such a thing as a "Used Car" and not a "Preowned Car", ;)
