I just bought 3 new lights is what currently stopping me.  Oh and I just dropped $150 on some new work boots too  :salute:. 

I was looking at the Tiara Pro A1 v2 XP-L ( white ) Gold and Silver.  I cannot for some reason determine whats the difference between the two  :think:. 

The XML2 emitter Tiara's are a bit cheaper and brighter on high but the run time on high is nearly 1/2 and they have a few less modes.

It's the bezel color option surrounding the lens... From what I gather the XP-L is based on the older XM-L2. Just brighter.

HAHA.. Well I am phasing out lights I bought to try.  I am smitten with my Olight S1R so far.  I have a stock pile of CR123 batteries plus I'll be ordering Olight RCR123 for back up.

After owning a few $20-$40 lights stepping up to the $60-$75 range I can see a difference.  There is still a lot of value in the lower cost lights for sure but just few more dollars and the next level is pretty darn nice IMO.

Agreed! I always carry a AAA light on my keychain (Fenix EO5) as well as a AAA light in my left pocket. I also normally carry a AA light with me as well. I like having a backup AAA battery and/or light. The Worm comes with a battery installed, but has a little sticker on the negative side to keep it from contacting and discharging. I decided to just leave the sticker on and will use it as a backup battery in my EO5. I wish I had a bunch of those little stickers to use.  :think:

I've been rocking the Nitecore SRT 5 lately.  I love the twisty dial selector, which is easy to find and is intuitive (unlike a second button IMO).  The SRT 5 is thin and makes a ton of light.
