With the longer nights I've brought out the, relatively, big guns to keep in my coat pocket.  Given that I always thought of Thorfire as a very basic manufacturer I am very happily surprised with the quality of the TK15.

It’s a D4v2. It’s the sst-20 6500k. It’s my for smurfs and giggles light. I was just in the process of buying another in a warmer tint when I got the notification for this thread. 🤫

My FW is a 219c and I prefer the warmer tint. Trying to decide on what tint to order for the D4v2. I’m ordering from Mountain and they are out of a lot of the options.

To answer your other question, I prefer the Emisar. The side switch just does it for me. I notice no difference in pocket carry.

To add to my last reply, I’ve hade zero issues with either light. I like having the aux leds. Might be another reason I prefer the Emisar. They may be for show, but it adds a fun factor. I may get my FW modded in the future to have aux leds. It just adds more play factor to the light.

They Just feel more solid to me. That Ti version is pretty nice. Wish they had the glow switch on all of them. I decided to hold off on ordering another till I can make up my mind. Might have to consider the Ti. What emitter are you thinking about getting? I had a XPL 3A in my cart, but chickened out.

If I go stock, then most likely the Nichia 219c 5000k.  I am also tempted to go through SkyLumen to get a titanium a one with the White 2 and throw optics.  That is what I have in my current D4 and other than being a little cooler than desired it is really nice.  The one I’d really like is his One-Off, but I can’t bring myself to do it, considering how much I spent on flashlights last month.

That’s a beautiful light! Didn’t check the price. Was to afraid. I’m not that deep into flashlights yet, but I’m getting there.  :facepalm:
I had to check myself tonight already. I haven’t even received my D4S yet.

It is indeed.  I get it soon after they came out and it's been my main pocket light ever since.  I do carry other stuff but this is the one I keep coming back too.

There is no cure I know of.  Although, I do know it is highly contagious and interacting with others who have the same smurf can cause it to get worse.  That being said and knowing your attraction to Emissar, have you looked at SkyLumen Emissar D4vn v2 with throw optics with White 2 emitter?  The price is steep compared to the cost of the regular D4 v2, but it is a pretty awesome light.

2. Just one more and I am done
3. I am not as bad as (enter other flashaholic's name here)
4. It hasn't changed me at all
5. I don't buy lights in the morning so it isn't REALLY an addiction
6. I only buy budget lights...I am not on the hard stuff
