I really like the 2 x AAA format for lights. Today I've been carrying my streamlight/fenix frankenlight, which I've been doing ever since the rubber boot fell off my Eagletac PN20a2. Right now I'm carrying my Surefire LX2.

Given the style of LED it has, and the fact it's well recessed, it's not really necessary I suppose. But I do get where you are coming from.

Been carrying this Jetbeam Jet-1 Pro V3.0 for the last few days. I gotta say I'm impressed, good max light level, programmable levels and solid build. (Image removed from quote.)
