New Olight S1 Baton.

Excellent light, super small, 500 lumens and a great UI.

Sweet.  I was just looking at that light.  I had been looking at the S10 as well.  I have several 123/s just sitting around and with the ability to use rechargeable seems like a winner.

Dude.  I was just looking at that light.

 8) 8)

Why wouldn't you. One of only a handful of stock lights worth buying.

Zebralight SC5 being another beast of a AA light.

Nope :-)

Thrunite make a very nice light.

Left to Right:
T10 (original twisty) -14500 - cool white
T20 (2014 Edition - 16340 - warm white
T10 (2014 edition )- 14500 - warm white
TN30 - 18650 - cool white
Catapult V3 - 18650 - cool white

I used to EDC the two T10s, alongside a Solarforce L2P with a Sportac Triple Nichia 219B 2-mode - in the same Olight holster (cool holster).  My EDC lights have changed radically, since then.

When I'm not carrying a bag, it's usually the first of these, below:

I'm fanatical about having different tint options, on my person lol.

Possibly so.

Hmmm...............naaaaaaaaaaaah.

An eleventh and twelfth EDC light (to add to the bag) might be nice, though..

My refurbished 91mm Golfer Plus has been in the pocket for the last week, hiking in Oregon, building fences, and opening beers and wine!  Though my daughter found the Waiter that lives in the bottom of my backpack and appropriated  :gimme:  it for her backpack...

Yep Harley, I was braindead when I posted this in the wrong forum/thread...

But I also had a Fenix E05 with me that we used while starting a campfire one night!

Anyone remember the Nuwai Quantum III?  No?  It was a big hit over ten years ago. With super numbers like a output of a massive 75 Lumen! (lets say half that and be kind) Runtime of nearly 3 hours! (more like 1) Super compact! (it's not really).  Still, while I kindly mock I'm rather attached to mine as it was one of my first attempts to get away from the clutches of Maglite. ;)

Step One is to admit he has a problem. I don't see that happening. :D

Read the 2004 review: http://www.flashlightreviews.com/reviews/nuwai_q-3.htm

Remember it? I owned two, one was the green one, with a mod job by Milkyspit from CPF. Compared to the crap-ass 5mm LEDs that were common then, it really *was* impressive at the time.

Even better, they made a 2xCR123A version, the TM-301X-3 (http://www.flashlightreviews.com/reviews/nuwai_tm301x3.htm), that was easily twice as bright as the QIII. Two modes, too. A real hot rod in it's day.

I threw them all out a few months ago while doing some weeding in my inventory. Unlike knives or multitools, old LED lights don't age well.  :-\

I just found my old Q-III as well (hence the post) and rather than throwing it in the bin, I threw a 16340 in it and put it in my coat pocket.  I can't be sure, but I rather suspect 16340 cells hadn't been invented the last time I carried the Q-III. :D

Seems to get warm quite fast, but no obvious ill effects.

So that thing is about as bright as my AAA modded Lumintop Tool at 800 or so lumens otf I guess?

Crazy how far lights have come in such a short time.

Was also my latest light until the mail came today and a much brighter but still small light arrived.

I'm still carrying my little Nuwai Q-III and a Fenix E05 (old version).  The Q-III is a long way from a modern torch, but I do like it's compact form.

I just carry the basics -- a 2AAA Mini-Maglite in the loop of my Wave sheath. Don't laugh, it serves me well!  :twak:
EDC: SwissChamp, Swisstool X, Zippo, Mini Maglite, all on my belt. I'm one more sheath away from becoming Batman.

The 2xAAA Maglite was my first ever quality torch.  I've since bought the modern LED version and have to say I like it.

This one is LED; I bought it just last year. I find I'm constantly reaching for it!  :)
